The 50th Anniversary of the Most Influential Document of the Second Vatican Council

6:00-9:00pm, Thursday, December 5, 2013
Teresa of Calcutta Hall, Lower Level of the Church
With Massimo Faggioli, Ph.D.

Fifty years ago, in 1963, the Second Vatican Council approved the constitution, Sacrosanctum Concilium: The Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, reforming our liturgy into what it is today. This document initiated the most important reform since the Council of Trent. This presentation will offer insights about the meaning of that foundational reform, especially for the ecclesiology – the image of the Church – that the “new liturgy” conveys.

Register by December 2. Cost is $20. Scholarships available.
